ACO Façade Drainage
Perforated steel channels for elevated terraces and balconies
ACO façade channels offer an aesthetically pleasing solution to protect the façade against water ingress. They are especially useful in barrier-free door areas. The drainage system is laid on a sealed surface and drains onto the waterproofing.
Key advantages of ACO Façade channels
- designed for elevated terraces, either open or with a gravel bed
- the side-slotted channels enable reduced connection heights, e.g. in barrier-free entrance areas
- all façade channels are walkable and support wheelchair traffic
Design
- large choice of gratings
- lateral grate lock
- improved connection between channels
Installation
- easy installation with a variety of accessories such as variable corner elements, compensation elements, end caps and branch channels for a direct, cleanable connection to the nearest gully
- height-adjustable channels can be adjusted from the top
- different options to connect the channel to a drain pipe
ACO offers a complete range of channels that are designed to lead water away from the façade as quickly as possible. Our solutions will also help to avoid the build-up of snow in front of a façade.
When the channel is equipped with a mesh grating, it will also prevent water from splashing back up onto the glass façade, thereby helping to keep it clean.
Customers can choose from the premium quality Profiline 2.0 range consisting of galvanized- or stainless steel channels complemented with a wide variety of gratings and accessories, the Frameline and Frameline C channels with individual levelling feet, or they can opt for the cost-effective Greenline 3.0 channels.
Profiline 2.0
The ACO Profiline 2.0 is the next generation of the popular ACO Profiline range of façade drainage channels. New features of this channel system are the lateral grate lock, the precise channel connection and branch channel connections on both sides every 50cm. The Profiline 2.0 range is available in galvanized- and stainless steel, offers a wide range of standardised dimensions and it comes both in fixed- as well as adjustable heights.
Variable height adjustment allows for millimeter-precise adaptation to local floor conditions. This means that ACO not only meets the forward-looking demand for barrier-free construction, but also meets the quality requirements of architects and planners.
Our talented colleagues from ACO Austria have prepared this insightful video on the installation of the new Profiline 2.0 channels to create a barrier-free transition with proper drainage in a terrace door area.
This new range of channels was designed in Germany for the drainage of façades, balconies and terraces. It can also be used on green roofs.
Frameline and Frameline C
The Frameline range offers a very versatile solution which is particularly suitable for pre-fabricated concrete balconies. Thanks to its height-adjustable feet, it is especially useful in areas where the surface is not levelled. With an additional gravel bar, it can also be used in a gravel bed. While the Frameline only offers a frame to support a grating, the Frameline C is an elevated channel that allows for easy cleaning.
