ACO enables future oriented rainwater management in residential areas
Transporting the rainwater on an elevated level near to the surface creates a cost efficient and sustainable drainage solution.

The ACO PowerDrain channel system has been chosen to implement a sustainable drainage system. Keeping the water transport level near to the surface makes it possible to feed the surface water into natural waters.

Living in harmony with nature while being connected to a well-developed infrastructure: the new climate adaptive residential area in Kamen in the eastern Ruhr region is a showcase project in every respect. It is not only the energy-efficient, low-CO2 construction method that serves as a model, but also the water-sensitive road design keeping a high water level.
