Passo d’Avenco and Quassolo tunnels
Drainage and treatment systems to ensure the safety of human life as well as the compliance with environmental requirements.

Italian Decree D.Lgs. 5th October 2006 n.264 integrates and adopts the prescriptions of Directive 2004/54/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 on minimum safety requirements for tunnels in the Trans-European Road Network.

The implementation of this European law prescribes that all tunnels longer than 500 meters shall be equipped with devices in case of accidental collision involving tanker trucks transporting flammable/dangerous fluids.
