Up to the newest standards: A drainage system to ensure the safety of human life as well as the environment
The fire-resistant solution for drainage in a tunnel offers a reliable solution to meet Serbia`s newest technical requirements.

The first tunnel in Serbia made with non-flammable line drainage system in accordance with the German “RABT” standard. The “RABT” in combination with the European Tunnel regulation provides technical guidance for the design and the operation of road tunnels.

The original design of the tunnel was made a long time ago, without considering the guidelines provided and accepted in the meantime by the serbian road authorities.

The new requirements of the project included line drainage made of non-flammable materials, specific kerb height and flow rate, all with a very limited installation height.

ACO Monoblock T 275V as the central part of the ACO solution covers all of the new requirements. The drainage solution developed by ACO in Serbia in collaboration with the fire service covers the entire handling of hazardous liquids in the event of accidents in tunnels: collecting hazardous liquids, buffer, clean and discharge them in a controlled manner with ACO components.
